The dissertation introduces the results of the current knowledge of professional li-terature in the field of managerial communication in small and medium-sized enter-prises when introducing flexible working arangement, it also maps the situation in the investigated area in the South Bohemia in 2018-2019 and provides educational mate-rials intended for training managers and HR professionals small and medium-sized enterprises that want to introduce flexible working arangements. These educational materials can be used by lecturers during workshops designed for small and middle-sized enterprises services and thus contribute to an increase in the number of jobs with flexibility, to the discovery of potential human resources not yet actively participating in the offer on the labor market, and last but not least, to the minimization of risks associated with unsystematic introduction flexible working conditions in companies.

Atypical Forms of Employment from the Perspective of Flexicurity Abstract The aim of this thesis is the assessment of the legal regulations of selected types of atypical employment from the perspective of the concept of flexicurity. It aims is to analyze the legal regulations of selected types of employment, to identify key elements of flexibility, security and employee protection, and critically evaluate whether the current legal framework meets the requirements of the Czech labor market or not. In case of the requirements not being met, possible solutions shall be proposed within the considerations de lege ferenda. This thesis consists of an introduction, four main parts, which are further divided into chapters and subchapters, and a conclusion. The first part offers a brief introduction to labor law. The second part focuses on the concept of flexicurity, its origin, various interpretations of different professionals, and its utilization in employment policies. It describes several different types of flexibility, security, and employee protection, and their reflection in labor law institutions. Legal status of persons taking care of children in the labor market

Legal status of persons taking care of children in the labor market This dissertation deals with the legal status of persons taking care of children with respect to their participation in the labor market. The dissertation provides a comprehensive analysis of the legal status of these persons, focusing especially on the employees' work-life balance. The dissertation deals in particular with the issues of working conditions of pregnant women, breastfeeding employees and employed mothers in the period of nine months after childbirth, and employees taking care of a child. The dissertation analyses the legal regulations of individual labor law institutes in relation to person taking care of children such as part-time work. The dissertation analyses atypical employment relationships resulting from the need to care of a child. In addition to providing an analysis of the current legislative framework, the dissertation also deals with contemporary case law, in particular the judicial decisions concerning part-time work. The dissertation describes overlaps with other areas of law, i.e. social security law and tax law, and identifies new trends such as the development of childcare services, in particular for children under three years of age, and process getting shorter parental leave resulting from changes...

Working hours, its lenght and distribution, with the focus on part-time Abstract The thesis deals with the issue of working hours and its distribution with a special focus on part-time. The thesis also introduces the legislation of part-time in the foreign law system, particularly in the Netherlands. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current legal regulation of working hours, its length and distribution, focusing on part-time. The thesis is divided into six chapters, which represent labor law in the system of law, historical development of working hours, sources of labor law, legal regulation of working hours and rest periods and distribution of working hours. The fifth chapter deals with labor law institutes in which part-time deviate from the set weekly working hours. The chapter defines persons that are entitled to apply for part-time or another suitable adjustment of their working hours, forms of these suitable adjustments and the interpretation of the concept of operational reasons by the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic. Work-Life Balance

The subject of this thesis is Work-Life Balance - the reconciliation of professional and personal lives. The primary objective of this work is to analyze employee satisfaction in achieving a balance between the professional and personal life and to develop recommendations for employer on that basis. The theoretical portion of this work defines the issues surrounding Work-Life Balance and tools that employees can use to harmonize the two with an analysis of applications in the Czech Republic and across the European Union. The practical portion of the study analyzes employee satisfaction in real-world cases. On the basis of both components, the study offers recommendations for policy improvements to foster better Work-Life Balance.
